The mountains are calling
All the busyness and chaos seems so important when you’re in it, doesn’t it?
It’s so easy to get lost in it.
The to-do becomes dire and our wants quickly start feeling like needs. But when you’re out here...no cell service, no WiFi...no crowds, no traffic...the materialism cloud lifts and you can see and feel so much clearer.
There is magic in simplicity and healing in stillness. We say we’ll get away and make time to be still and connect as soon as things slow down, but they do and they never will.
This is my public vow to say “fuck it” more often ...to drop it all, turn off my phone and hide from the world when my vision gets cloudy so that the busyness and the bullshit doesn’t ever become normal to me.
